
Our Story
With decades of experience inventing compounds for military and commercial applications, Matt Marchant, our company founder, decided to make a new form of rubber that is tougher than what was available in the past. In his own words, "I decided to add rocks to it." More specifically, he created an advanced ceramic rubber compound. When a big foreign tire company wanted the IP rights, Matt agreed but on one condition: They had give him the exclusive rights to sell the new tires in the US, and at their own cost. This was quite an unusual discount, but they agreed. This gave Matt the right to buy tires cheaper than anyone else in the US, even other tire manufacturers. They asked him what his tires would be named, and the very first Road Knight Tires were made.
The tires were tested on off-road trucks. 15 years later Matt suggested to his friend Taylor, a venture capitalist, that he should develop the company. In 2026, they formed Road Knight Tires, LLC and began building the sales and back office structure of the company. Taylor's vision was to build a team of account executives so that the company could focus exclusively on factory-direct fleet sales at discount prices.
Today, we are building a growing company that takes advantage of several new cost-saving concepts to pass savings on to you: We have no costly corporate office, no big overhead, and we can have our tires made for less than our competitors. Our Approach
When you buy from Road Knight, you are getting tires that are made with American design, and American compound materials. Many companies have their tires designed and made almost entirely overseas, only to complete the last step in the US and then deceptively label them "made in USA," when they are actually mostly foreign made.
